Minister for Finance and Social-Economic Planning
CPA Mary Kimanzi joined the County Government in April 2014 as the Chief Officer for Finance and Socio-economic Planning. She was appointed the County Executive Committee Member for Finance and Socio- Economic Planning in June, 2015 and reappointed to the same Position in October 2017.
Before joining the County, Mary served at Agricultural Finance Corporaton for a period of 19 years where she rose through the ranks to be the Chief Accountant. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya. She holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Nairobi and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy and Management at Strathmore Business School.
