Makueni County Statistical Abstract – 2023

The 2023 Makueni CSA provides the statistics for the period 2018 to 2022 and its production went through
all the recommended stages of producing official statistics. The statistics generated were validated by the
departments and agencies in Makueni County both from the National and the County Government and reviewed
by the technical team from KNBS and County Government of Makueni. The publication is categorized into an
introductory chapter and five other chapters based on the classification of statistical activities undertaken by
national and international statistical organizations. This classification follows the statistical subject-matter domains
with five domains of: Demographic and Social Statistics; Economic Statistics; Environment Statistics; Governance
Statistics; and Cross-cutting Statistics.
