๐๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ง๐ข, ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ, ๐€๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ – Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr. joined families, residents, mourners and leaders at Kithingโ€™iisyo Primary School grounds in Nthongoni for the burial of four victims of the tragic Kalembwani accident.

The victimsโ€”Peter Mutuku Muasa, Morris Muasya Kimeu, Theophilus Mbuvi Katwa and Benson Nzyoka Davidโ€”were laid to rest amid grief and calls for solidarity with their families.

Governor Kilonzo said the Makueni County Government would continue standing with the affected families during the difficult period.

He also commended county hospital staff for their response following the accident, saying their intervention demonstrated commitment to assisting residents and victims during emergencies.

The governor alsoUsed the solemn occasion to sent condolences to Kibwezi East MP Jessica Mbalu, who lost her husband, former High Court judge Justice Joseph Mbalu Mutava. Reports on Saturday confirmed the death of the former judge, who was expected to be mourned by family, friends and leaders.

The burial brought together the community and leaders in a show of solidarity as Nthongoni mourned the four victims of the Kalembwani accident.
