She began her spot-check tour at Kee Health facility before proceeding to Mukuyuni and Nziu facilities.

The visit aimed at assessing the state of service delivery, interacting with healthcare workers and establishing challenges affecting the provision of healthcare to residents.

During the tour, she also inspected the maternity blocks at Mukuyuni and Nziu health facilities. The maternity block at Mukuyuni includes a theatre to support the provision of maternity and related medical services.

The exercise is part of the departmentโ€™s efforts to monitor service delivery and identify areas requiring improvement to ensure Makueni residents access quality and efficient healthcare services.
