Makueni Inducts 60 Interns Under Cohort 9.

Makueni County Government has inducted 60 interns under Cohort 9 of its internship programme, with two interns drawn from each of the county’s 30 wards. The induction, led by Acting Chief Officer for Education and Internship, Damaris Makau, was held at the Makueni Integrated Vocational Education Centre (MIVEC).

The programme is aimed at equipping young people with practical skills and workplace experience to enhance their preparedness for future career opportunities. The interns will gain hands-on exposure within the county government while developing professional competencies and experience that can support their transition into employment and other career pathways.
