GOVERNOR MUTULA KILONZO Jr. SWORN IN AS MEMBER OF KENYA LAW REFORM COMMISSION

H.E. Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr., who also serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Council of Governors (CoG) Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee, was on Wednesday sworn in as a Member of the Kenya Law Reform Commission (KLRC). His appointment followed his nomination by the Council of Governors and subsequent gazettement by Attorney General Dorcas Oduor through Gazette Notice No. 5589 dated 17 April 2026.

Governor Mutula was sworn in alongside Ms. Annette Imbuhila Wangia and will serve a five-year term on the Commission.

The swearing-in ceremony was witnessed by Chief Justice Martha Koome, who congratulated the Commissioners on their appointment and underscored the importance of fully realizing the aspirations and objectives of the 2010 Constitution for the benefit of all Kenyans.

His appointment is expected to significantly contribute to the advancement of legal reforms that support effective devolution, social equity, and justice for all.
