๐ญ๐ด๐๐ต ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ – The Sh15.7 million Muangini Drift improvement project along the Mbyani-Ngalani road in Kasikeu Ward is 86 percent complete and is expected to be finished within the next two weeks.
Deputy Governor Lucy Mulili, who inspected the 57-metre-long project, said the works would improve transport and access along the road, particularly during the rainy season.
Mulili is accompanied by area MCA Ruben Nzai, Ilima MCA Bishop Jonathan Muthoka and County Executive Committee Members Peter Mumo Nyamai, Japheth Musyoka Mangโoka and Eng. Sebastian Kyoni, among other county officials.
She also interacted with residents and outlined county interventions in water, agriculture and infrastructure development.
Mulili said the county government had put measures in place to mitigate the effects of forecast El Niรฑo rains and related disasters.
