𝗠𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀

Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr has commissioned the newly renovated outpatient and laboratory blocks at Iuani Health Centre in Ukia Ward, Kaiti Sub-County.

Accompanied by Deputy Governor Lucy Mulili, County Assembly Clerk Kevin Mutuku, MCAs, CEC Members and other county officials, the Governor was welcomed by residents who thanked the county government for upgrading the facility.

During the inspection, he directed the Department of Health to immediately deploy a laboratory technician to support diagnostic services.

At the event, Kyanzuki Self-Help Group received KSh 204,000 under the Ultra-Poor Graduation Programme to boost its income-generating activities.

The Governor said the county government was rolling out programmes to empower self-help groups and improve household incomes.

The commissioning is part of his day-long development tour of Ukia Ward.
