๐๐“๐‡๐Ž๐๐†๐Ž๐๐ˆ, ๐€๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ—, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”-Makueni County officials on Wednesday joined Nthongoni residents in mourning seven people killed in Saturdayโ€™s Kalamba road crash.

The victims died along the Kalambaโ€“Kalembwani Road while travelling to a dowry ceremony. Several others were injured and remain admitted to Makueni County Referral Hospital.

At a memorial service at Kithingiisyo Primary School, bereaved families thanked the Makueni County Government for settling hospital bills and supporting burial arrangements.

The service was attended by Senator Daniel Maanzo, CECMs Japheth Mangoka, Irene Makau and Paul Musila, County Attorney Stanley Nthiwa, Chief Officer Dr Harvey Mulei, County Public Service Board chairman Kiilu Kasamba and Area MCA Harrison Mwanzia, among other officials.
