The project features five lines of 900mm-diameter culverts, gabion protection, murram backfilling and gravel patching on both approaches.

The road surface will also be strengthened through murram spreading, watering and compaction.

Upon completion, the works will improve access between Ngiini, Kalanzoni and neighbouring settlements, supporting safer travel, trade and local livelihoods.

He was accompanied by his deputy, Lucy Mulili.
