Deputy Governor Lucy Mulili has commissioned newly constructed staff quarters at Kyuasini Dispensary, aimed at improving healthcare workersโ€™ working conditions and enhancing access to healthcare services in the area.

The new accommodation will enable healthcare workers to remain on-site, supporting round-the-clock operations and improving the facilityโ€™s capacity to provide 24-hour healthcare services.

During the event, Mulili highlighted several development commitments for the area, including the deployment of a grader to facilitate the completion of Mumbuni Road. She also said the county government has rolled out support for 30 community groups through the Makueni County Empowerment Fund, with each group set to receive KSh 50,000.

She urged residents to desist from vandalising churches, calling on the community to respect places of worship and protect shared community institutions.

The Deputy Governor made the remarks during a day-long development tour of Ukia Ward, where governor Mutula kilonzo Jr led inspection and commissioning of completed projects across the ward.
