𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐍𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟑𝟎𝟎 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬.

Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr has commissioned the Ngandani Water Project in Kikumbulyu South Ward as part of his development tour of the ward on Wednesday.

The Ksh 10 million project, funded by the Government of Makueni County through the Financing Locally-Led Climate Action (FLLoCA) programme, will improve access to clean and reliable water for more than 300 households in Kiluluini, Ivuisya, Kithimani, Kevanda, Masalani and Kivuti villages.

Water is sourced from Kivungoni Springs and distributed through a 10-kilometre extension from the Kithokoosyo storage tank, connecting six water points, Kasemeini dispensary and Kevanda Primary School.

He was accompanied by Deputy Governor Lucy Mulili, MCAs Jades Kalunda, Eric Katumo, Elizabeth Kawembe, and a host of local leaders.
