The renewed partnership will strengthen nutrition interventions through technical and financial support, the provision of essential nutrition commodities, capacity building for health workers and community health volunteers, community outreach, and evidence-based advocacy. Priority areas include nutrition during the first 1,000 days of life, Vitamin A supplementation, iron and folic acid supplementation, nutrition education, and food fortification.

Through coordinated implementation, the partnership seeks to enhance access to quality nutrition services, strengthen health systems, and improve health outcomes for women, children and adolescents in Makueni County.
