Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr. inspects the ongoing rehabilitation works at the Kamunyolo Earth Dam spillway. The works are aimed at reinforcing the spillway and enhancing the dam’s structural integrity.

Residents appealed for the works to be fast-tracked to enhance the dam’s safety and resilience ahead of the anticipated El Niño rains. Mutula instructed the contractor to work day and night to ensure completion of the works.

The governor also inspected the Kamunyolo improvement works within the facility. He unveiled plans by the county to create a recreational centre at the facility, featuring security lights and cameras.
