Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr. inspects the solarization of Mwaani boreholes in Kituasi Village, Mwaani,where three boreholes are being powered by solar energy with a combined capacity of 24.5kW to reduce electricity costs and enhance water supply.

He said the County Government will drill additional boreholes at the site. The site has been installed with CCTV cameras to safeguard the infrastructure. Mutula unveiled plans to automate water kiosks for efficient management of the resource.

He was accompanied by ECMs, Wote/ Nziu MCA Felix Mateso, County Assembly Committee Chairperson on Water Sarah Mbilu, and other county officials.
